Quentin Tarantino Biography
Quentin Tarantino is an American movie director with his films having a penchant for violence and the vulgarities of the street.
Paradoxically he sees his movies as being a million miles away from inspiring people to violence whilst blaming the lack of gun control combined with unstable minds as being the main reason for high levels of gun violence in America.
His career as an independent filmmaker started in 1992 with the release of "Reservoir Dogs" which received critical acclaim and set the stage for his next release "Pulp Fiction" in 1994 and the Tarantino film show went into overdrive with the "Jackie Brown" in 1997 and the "Kill Bill" series starting in 2003.
Whether you like or loathe his movies the awards and the acclaim they have received speak for themselves, Tarantino has been described as the greatest director of his generation and he has revived the flagging careers of many a fine actor.
Just like his scripts he has never been short of a word or two so this is my compilation of 18 of the best Quentin Tarantino quotes.

Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman was quoted as saying: "Quentin used Harvey [Weinstein] as the executive producer of 'Kill Bill,' a movie that symbolizes female empowerment. And all these lambs walked into slaughter because they were convinced nobody rises to such a position who would do something illegal to you, but they do"
Uma Thurman referring to the car crash she suffered whilst filming 'Kill Bill': "Quentin Tarantino was deeply regretful and remains remorseful about this sorry event, and gave me the footage years later so I could expose it and let it see the light of day, regardless of it most likely being an event for which justice will never be possible. He also did so with full knowledge it could cause him personal harm, and I am proud of him for doing the right thing and for his courage"
The actress Diane Kruger spoke highly of working under his directorship: "My work experience with Quentin Tarantino was pure joy. He treated me with utter respect and never abused his power or forced me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with"
