Who Decides The Fate Of Maybe

Who Decides The Fate Of Maybe
A poem about stumbling through the fate of maybe by Michael Joseph Farrelly
My mind it is a shadow
Of what it used to be
Haunted by my ego
A ghost of always maybe
When did maybe last surprise you
For a place that you do yearn
If some dreams really come true
Then why the constant churn
Who decides the fate of maybe
As you stare into the night
The terms of chance are murky
An opaque veil of plight
Frozen by the fate of maybe
The riddled mind will seek
A calmness that is steady
As your stillness learns to speak
Scorn now the fate of maybe
Embrace your innate traits
Shine through minds of beauty
A serene smile awaits
You decide the fate of maybe
As you stare into the night
Hold firm your choice it's worthy
Your natural instinct right
Great quotes are not where you find great wisdom. It's where you share this knowledge that counts

"Who Decides The Fate Of Maybe" - My Inspiration
Well, nine times out ten my initial gut feeling is right.
But yet I always question it. Why do we question the instinctive decisiveness of our innate gut feelings when facing the possibilities of maybe under the shadow of arrogant and ambiguous certainty?
Certainty be damned, it is not always the right thing to do.
