The Grid's Grip Will Fail

The Grid's Grip Will Fail
A poem by Michael Joseph Farrelly
This age of inversion
Won't end with a bang
It starts with subversion
Through rank and file fang
The people they sense
That something is wrong
Your noise to their silence
Only makes this more strong
The grid's grip will fail
Their veil will be cracked
Each captured mind jail
Like Rome will be sacked
Rot starts from within
One mind at a time
An unruly tailspin
No reason to rhyme
The inverted age facts
Never really made sense
They played out as acts
Pounds spilling for pence
The grid's grip will fail
Their veil will be cracked
Each captured mind jail
Like Rome will be sacked
This grid it is theatre
Bread and circus their show
It mines you for data
To control what you know
It's all a facade
And once you say no
Their strings of charade
Will melt like thawed snow
Great quotes are not where you find great wisdom. It's where you share this knowledge that counts
