The Cage of Cracy

A poem by Michael Joseph Farrelly

Have you ever sat and wondered
Just how sanitised we are
As we watch the world be plundered
To win more oil hurrah

Just how do we accept it
This chaos that is spun
By power through their writ
As we cower to their gun

The Greeks they mulled two theory
Archy depicted rule
The other one was Cracy
A madness power tool

Demo is its precious blade
To keep the herd in line
A grin and bear it trade
That grasps a nettled vine

We're blinded by the thought
Demo's the only game
But everyone is bought
All shysters with no shame

Demo plays you for a fool
Through two-faced tunnel vision
This capture, oh so cruel
Locked down in Cracy prison

But what is Demo really?
A Chiro by the sword
Pluto without pity
To Klepto using fraud

Then Pedanto's shilling
For Techno's lock and key
So Strato does the killing
Whilst Theo grabs his fee

No place for Merito
Too valiant to call
See, Demo is Demono
A vampire serpent ball

Mixed in with Kakisto
Demo plumbs dark depth
That green lights Argento
Seems Mammon's high on meth

All hail the cage of Cracy
A pumped up power mission
Stone faced lies, never tasty
Yet still finds fools to listen

Great quotes are not where you find great wisdom. It's where you share this knowledge that counts
