Rethink This Global Greed Mill

Rethink This Global Greed Mill
A poem by Michael Joseph Farrelly
Rethink this global greed mill
That runs man off his land
Culture dies pockets fill
A green man sleight of hand
This green man don't sustain
Just talk through doubtful jaw
In language of disdain
Cold eyes no fun could thaw
Climate is their passion
Where falsehoods pour like rain
Their guilt trip obsession
Pulling on your chain
Their currency is fear
It's all they have to sell
This carbon neutral spear
Leads all of us to hell
Carbon makes the plants grow
A seed of life per se
Currently it's too low
Yet still they view it prey
It used to be the ice age
To scare us out of life
Now warming's all the rage
With politics of strife
Green breath spinless turbines
A sea of solar blight
This plagueful pair combines
For land-grab hands of sleight
Then crops they spray with poison
That bugs would never eat
Still serve it up to human
Ain't sanity so sweet
They patent all the seed
To make sure you can't grow
Then squeeze you 'til you bleed
Stood in their line of woe
Rethink this global greed mill
Give people back their land
Dollars will no belly fill
These farms should all be manned
The natural way sustain
Our connect to the soil
A culture to maintain
No eco-system spoil
Rethink this global greed mill
This madness has to stop
The Commons land is still
Where all should grow their crop
Great quotes are not where you find great wisdom. It's where you share this knowledge that counts
