One Random Act Of Kindness

One Random Act Of Kindness
A poem about doing the right thing through kindness by Michael Joseph Farrelly
One random act of kindness
A very good small deed
Just to make a difference
It's sometimes all they need
Just smile and say good morning
As you walk along the street
Let people get the feeling
Life should be so sweet
Be generous with your praise
'specially to the young
Encourage them, don't faze
No need for scolding tongue
Give compliments, you can
Lend kind ears with heed
Judge not by their clan
Do the right thing indeed
Hold doors for the next
Let someone jump the queue
Say no to getting vexed
Calmness should be your view
Always offer up your seat
Show elderly respect
A feel-good factor feat
With positive effect
Don't nego' at the market
Feed locals not CEO's
For the peoples pocket
A pure grass roots compose
Being kind is your start
It will make you whole
No more the spreadsheet heart
With cold robotic soul
Each random act of kindness
Is a very good small deed
Just to make a difference
It's sometimes all we need
Great quotes are not where you find great wisdom. It's where you share this knowledge that counts

"One Random Act Of Kindness" - My Inspiration
Kindness begins with me and being kind is always the right thing to do. Kindness is never wasted, especially when no one else is watching.
Or in the words of the American philosopher Eric Hoffer inferring that kindness is contagious:
“Kindness can become its own motive. We are made kind by being kind”.
