How Sweet Is Their Dystopia - This is a poem about the dark and light side of karma and the struggle to navigate a path out of Plato's cave of illusion by Michael Joseph Farrelly

How Sweet Is Their Dystopia

When lies be breath of life
The fangs of fate sense blood
That fuels your wheel of strife
Like only evil could

Brutal laws fit the poor
Flouted by the rich
Bought status by the score
Burnt fairness is their kitsch

How sweet is your dystopia
A fake taste worse than blues
A mind churning hypoxia
An outlook hard to choose

When fairness turns to dust
The balance of what's right
Grinds on a wheel of rust
That too few people fight

Don't sit back in their awe
They fear their shadows bitch
Your numbers are their flaw
While they divide and snitch

How sweet is your dystopia
A lesson learnt from blues
To face your own chimera
A mindset yet to fuse

Resistance you can't join
It's who you really are
Just reject their bent coin
And think outside their jar

Outthink them with kindness
Work with your fellow man
Barter, it is timeless
It's ev'ry ones B plan

How sweet is their dystopia
Outcast their gloomy blues
See through imposed anopia
A mindset of cool hues

Great quotes are not where you find great wisdom. It's where you share this knowledge that counts
