This New Year I Will Be The Change I Want To See In The World

This is my new year take on the famous Mahatma Gandhi quote about taking personal responsibility for making the world a better place.

Well, I don't want to try to change the world, I'm more interested in changing myself for the better.

Every day I wake up and think I want to learn something new, however I want to expand this. Everyone learns a lot of lessons in life, it is what we so wittingly call experience, so this year I want to try to learn more from failure, yup that's right failure.

I want to spend less time dissecting and analysing every unimportant aspect of it and more time taking the positive from it.

There is a lot to be said about a positive attitude and this year I'm going for an outlook with a permanently positive position and will treat failure and success just the same, for I now fully acknowledge that to achieve success I must also be willing to fail.
