In the colourful life of Zsa Zsa Gabor there was never a dull moment, if a reporter were ever looking for an infamous Hollywood quote then Zsa Zsa was sure to deliver.

With her charm and good looks she took to Hollywood like swan gliding across the water with a certain elegance that appeared to have all the airs and graces of imagined European sophistication.

It wasn't long however until the hacks of the tabloid world got their teeth into her but Zsa Zsa Gabor proved to be more resilient than they imagined. Despite nine marriages and a host of scandals Zsa Zsa proved to made of stern stuff and she remained in the spotlight with her head still held high despite what they threw at her.

Some of her quotes were jaw droppers, like;

She made it clear where she was coming from and the tabloids lapped it up.

One wonders though how much hate would it take to have tipped Zsa Zsa over the edge where she felt compelled to give her precious diamonds back to an ex-husband, male friend or lover?

She once came out with this fateful quote:

'You never really know a man until you have divorced him'

This is the phase when the marital assets are discussed and although any gift cannot be construed as a marital asset, it is sometimes the case that people cannot bring themselves to keep such items for sentimental reasons and they get sold off.

It would appear that the Zsa Zsa Gabor threshold for hate to be quite high, well it's either that her propensity for diamonds was enough to blank out such hateful thoughts.
